About ADHD Coaching
-
Coaching is...
- A collaboration between coach and client.
- A non-judgmental conversation...
- ...with someone who has a deep understanding of your unique brain wiring.
- Focused on action, but a chance to process your emotions, too.
- A place to come up with new strategies and make tough decisions.
- An opportunity to learn to work better with the brain you have.
-
Coaching is not...
- ...therapy. It's not about healing or "fixing" you; it's about taking action to get to where you want to be.
- ...instruction. You won't be told what to do; we'll work together to come up with solutions that work for you (rather than the ones you've been told should work, but don't).
- ...psychiatry. I can't diagnose you with ADHD, ASD, or anything else. However, I can signpost you to the various avenues for diagnosis if you wish.
How I work
...and how I can help
I am based in the UK, but I love working with clients from all over the world. Unless otherwise agreed, sessions are held on Zoom.

Adult 1:1 Coaching
30 Minutes
30-minute sessions can be helpful for clients working mainly on practical skills, or for those who do better focusing in short bursts.
We will usually work together weekly for an initial period of around 12 weeks. Some long-term clients may then continue weekly, others change to fortnightly or monthly sessions for maintenance, while others pause when they've got all they need out of coaching. We will review regularly throughout our work together to ensure you're getting the most out of the process.

Adult 1:1 Coaching
60 Minutes
60-minute sessions can be particularly helpful if you need the time and space to think through bigger life plans.
They can also be useful if you are what we call a "verbal processor" - you need to really talk through your ideas to be sure of how you feel about them.
We will usually work together weekly for an initial period of around 12 weeks, but you can continue for as long as you find the process helpful. You are in the driving seat.

Workplace Consultancy
On Request
I offer bespoke workplace consultancy to employers and organisations interested in better understanding the needs of neurodivergent employees, reducing workplace stress, leading to higher productivity, and increasing staff wellbeing.
Please contact me if you would like to discuss this, rather than booking a consultation directly.
Fees
Sessions are £30 for 30 minutes, £50 for 60 minutes - a reduced rate while I work towards credentialling and higher-level certification.
I offer a 10% discount when sessions are booked in blocks of four.
If you are based in the UK, the Access to Work government grant scheme may be able to fund the full cost of your coaching if you are in employment or self-employed. If you would like to know more about this, please get in touch.
I also keep a limited number of sliding scale slots for anyone who cannot afford my full fee.

About Me
I'm Emma, and I think our brains are wonderful. Yours too. Really.
I have ADHD, ASD, and a PhD. I've always found the hard things easy and the easy things hard. But I've harnessed my brain to do a lot of brilliant things. You can too. Let's figure it out together.
Before I was a coach, I worked in tech, academia, and as an artist and touring musician - so if you're a creative or geeky type, we'll probably have a lot in common!
I am an AACC-certified ADHD coach, now in higher-level training at ADDCA (where I've been learning since 2022), and am seeing clients at a reduced rate as I work towards further certification and credentialling with ICF and PAAC.
Affiliations

I am a member of the International Coaching Federation, and abide by their Code of Ethics. I am AACC-certified by my training organisation ADDCA, and will begin working towards ICF/PAAC credentialling later this year.
